International Card Aquiring
As the PSS system is accredited to accept international card scheme namely Visa, Master card and China Union, thus, it has been managing to process these transactions processed on POS and ATM. Furthermore, PSS has been the first company to acquire DCI (Diners Club International) and JCB (Japan Credit Bureau) card transactions through its system. As of June 30, 2022 PSS were able to implement the China UnionPay acquiring project for three PSS member banks, Visa acquiring project for five PSS member bank, Master card for five-member bank and JCB and DCI for one PSS member bank. Regarding the international transaction processing the corona virus pandemic, that demonstrates the interconnectedness of our global economy, has affected some of our services because of the containment measures taken by almost all countries. The impact was significant on industries like the payment industry as cross-border transactions were cutoff, travels were banned and consumptions were lowered. Thereby, a consecutive year of decreasing growth was recorded due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
